Windows 7 (x86)

To install firestb, please follow these steps:

1. In Device Manager, expand the item “IEEE 1394 Bust host controllers”.
2. Right-click -> Properties on “1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller”.
3. In the Driver tab, Click “Update Driver” button.
4. Click on the “Browse my computer for diver software”.
5. Click on “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer”.
6. Choose the “1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (Legacy)” option.
7. Click “Next”. It should install the driver. Close any open windows.
8. Important: Be sure to power cycle your cable box after the change

And now your firewire channel changing should work!

Unfortunately, firestb is not supported under Windows 64 bits and might never be.
