How can I change the audio output?

The HDPVR supports 2 audio output mode:

  • AAC
  • AC3

DVBLink for HDPVR only supports AC3.

To change the HDPVR audio output, follow these instructions:

  1. Open the DVBLink Source Configuration application
  2. Select your HDPVR source from the tree
  3. Click the Properties button to open the HDPVR Properties window
  4. Click the HDPVR Setup tab
  5. Click the Device Properties button

Also please make sure that your STB is sending AC3 audio through it’s optical SPDIF output port. Some STB includes two digital output ports and most of them provides an option to select the appropriate output port.
