The following is new in DVBLink for HDPVR 2.0
Once a lineup has been selected from Windows Media Center, users can do common Media Center’s guide management tasks:
- Channel renaming
- Channel renumbering
- Add user channels
- Delete guide channels
- Show/Hide guide channels
- Change lineup (using the Setup Wizard)
- Synchronize your changes with Media Center
For the people familiar with Guide Tool, I’m sure you’ll feel at home here. Most of the commands provided by the lineup editor indeed comes straight from Guide Tool.
HDPVR Setup

From the HDPVR Setup page, users reflects their HDPVR’s inputs configuration so that DVBLink for HDPVR knows from which HDPVR inputs get the audio and video streams. Do not miss this page or you’ll certainly end up for sure with a “No TV signal” problem.
The following is new in DVBLink for HDPVR 2.0
This page also provide HDPVR source selection. That allows users with multiple HDPVRs to select a specific device.
The Test button is very useful to ensure that your HDPVR is configured right. Just make sure that the DVBLink Service is stopped before hitting this button!
The Device Properties button allows users to modify the HDPVR’s internal settings.
Blaster configuration

DVBLink for HDPVR supports a variety of native ways to change the channels on your set-top-box when requested by Media Center.
Use the Baster Configuration window to select your favorite channel changing method. If none of the implemented method fill your needs, you are welcome to create your own custom hook (an external batch file) to call any executable on your computer (new in DVBLink for HDVPR 2.0).
Above is the dialog used to learn and configure your own set-top-box remote control using an MCEIR-compatible receiver.

The most interesting part of this page is the version information. Because DVBLink for HDPVR is a combination of 2 products (DVBLink and HDPVRBridge), it can be confusing for users to determine whether or not they have the right combination of products installed. This combination of products is call the DVBLink for HDPVR product version. The handy button Get Product Version performs a validation of your installation are confirms that both products are indeed installed properly and compatible… or not.
